This is the first model railroad craftsman kit I ever built. I started it before I left Beaverton, Oregon in about 1988 and I finished it while living in Bellevue, WA in December 1991. I learned a lot about building and detailing a kit when I worked through this one. When I started it, I didn’t have any power tools nor did I have access to a table saw, so for a base I used laminated corrugated cardboard. Not a good choice, though, because it warps over time.

Outstanding modeling Chris. Where’s your Cooper’s pics? Would love to see you re-release your kit or put out another!
Thanks so much for the kind words. I will be putting up the Cooper’s Garage pictures again very soon. In terms of Clance Hillside Station, the kit is still available at http://www.silverridgemodelworks.com. I’m trying to find some time to design two new kits for this holiday.
I want to know how much swakhammer welding company is worth put together
I’ve seen it on eBay for as much as $2500, and that was several years ago.
