My latest toy is a new iPhone 4. After acquiring the new iMac system, now I’m taking the next step into iOS development with a new iPhone 4. I ordered the iPhone at the beginning of July and it shipped out last week from Shenzhen, China! Amazing! Despite the typhoon in Hong Kong, FEDEX got it here a day earlier than was expected according to the FEDEX tracking information.
It came in great condition and now I have activated it and am learning about all of it’s features. So far, I’m not a victim of the death grip problem – my iPhone seems to work just fine no matter how I hold it. Maybe my hands are non-conductive?
The screen seems to be perfect with no weirdnesses as previously reported by other iPhone users. I’m probably going to purchase AppleCare for two years on it, just in case.

ShenZen China? Is that a fake iPhone? I’m just curious cause I didn’t think there was an apple store there, also assuming your from America and you’re so near from the Apple Store.
Nope. Not a fake. I guess Apple ships from the supplier to save time and money.
