Join us on a spectacular ride to the top of the Untersberg mountain with magnificant views of the Rositten Valley and the surrounding mountains.
The Untersberg cable-car operates on a two-cable system. The difference in altitude from the base station to the top of the Untersberg is a whopping 1320 meters. The largest distance from the ground at any given point along the ride is about 286 meters. The cable which carries our car hangs freely in the air for a span of 1548 km between the valley station and the first tower. Amazing!
Once we reach the summit, we can see the beautiful Salzburg Lake District, as well as the ice-capped Hohen Tauern mountains.
