Skagit Valley Tulip Festival 2007

Chris and Hong go to the TulipsOne of our first big trips of the year was our trip to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in April 2007. It was our first time visiting Mount Vernon and seeing the beautiful fields of tulips. We visited Rosengaard and Tulip Town. We had a great time, even though we got lost a couple of time (no GPS then). At the end of the day, we stopped at the Alpaca ranch just off of I-5 near the exit to get to the tulips. Sadly, in 2008 this lovely Alpaca ranch and historic store was closed. I’m glad we had an opportunity to visit it when we did.

Here’s some of the sights I recorded on my camera of our enjoyable first visit.
