San Francisco 2014

We leave our hearts there once more

San Francisco 2014

Again this year, my wife and I visited San Francisco for Apple’s WWDC and altConf (formerly known as altWWDC). Unlike last year, this year we decided to explore more of San Francisco.

Day One

Join us as we cruise San Francisco bay on the Blue and Gold fleet from pier 39 and take in the sights of the Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz, and the Bay bridge on day one of our visit.

Day Two

Day two was taken up by conferences so we didn’t have any time to play.

Day Three

On day three of our visit, we take a walking tour of downtown San Francisco, visiting the Cable Car Musuem, Grace Cathedral, Chinatown and the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory, and finally we climb to the top of Coit Tower.

Day Four

On day four, we continue our walking tour of San Francisco. This time we visit the City Hall building, Alamo Park, the historic Castro Theater, and finally the lovely Golden Gate Park. We didn’t have enough time or energy to go the short distance from Golden Gate Park to the bridge, so we took that up the next day.

Day Five

To conclude our visit to San Francisco, we visit the Golden Gate visitor center, then walk across the famous bridge. Later we take a bus to the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts.
